Well, I am weird at the times... :) I thought of putting it at, say, 330
Hz, with variable Q. That way I could control if I would have gain on
the higher strings or higher and lower. And place in front of the
distortion, that would yield more distortion on the higher frequencies.
And, finally, I already have Baxendall (250 Hz and 5kHz), for which I
need some kind of controlling the *mid* frequency gain (1kHz), and by
having variable Q I could control the gain of lower & higher frequency.
I don't need variable frequency since I already have control of other
frequencies, I just need the 1kHz one, so I thought I could save some
space in the guitar and get rid of that pot (I already have three, and
putting parametric EQ would give me three-four more).

You synth players always want more control, but I need some place in
order to pick my strings (it's not really that I will pick them all, two
are enough :).

One day I'll buy/make a synth too, and then I'll have a big trunk loaded
with pots and switches, and 64 VCOs, 16 VCFs, ADSR modulators etc. :)
And if I get really adventurous, maybe I'll put a few keys in there, so
I could play it! ;)
