Ending the pot discussion????

I guess I like my pots 'all lined up' like a Moog modular. Jacks, too.

For the 'lots of pots' modules (sequencers, etc) I am thinking about using vertical mount pots with reduced specs
(gasp!!) because they are just used as voltage dividers and 'noise' is not as much a factor. Looking at using
Noble conductive plastic.

This one issue. Another one is the impact on the front panel design :
mounting pots right angle on the pcb allows to have pots arranged in
one column only (or one row, depending if the pcb is fixed horizontally
or vertically) on the front panel, which can be a real limitation for
some sophisticated modules...
