Ending the pot discussion????

This one issue. Another one is the impact on the front panel design :
mounting pots right angle on the pcb allows to have pots arranged in
one column only (or one row, depending if the pcb is fixed horizontally
or vertically) on the front panel, which can be a real limitation for
some sophisticated modules...
