A good pot for synths

No, I did.
Kevin's point of all pots failing at some time is absolutely correct. Here is 1 more data point.
The small company I work for sells about 75,000 temperature controllers a year. Each one uses a Bourn Model 91
conductive plastic pot. This pot is used to adjust a voltage reference in the 50mv range, which is about 1 semitone.
I asked my tech, who does all of the repairs over the last 6 years, how many controls have been returned
because the control pot was faulty. A quick computer search:
Units shipped 267,212
Failed pots 5
Not bad!
If I was to recommend a good, all-round pot, a Bourns 91 is it. About $2.76 from Allied and Newark.

Just for clarification, I DIDN'T write the above quote.
