What do you do then? Then you're stuck with an
incomplete synth, that has cost quite some money.
----------------------------------------------
LH> What I expect to be stuck with is a high-quality modular synth owned by
only a select few with the vision to support the development (hopefully
for Paul, more than just a few).
-----------------------------------------------------------------
I would wait and see, until all modules are available, before parting with
cash. Or preferrably choose something that is available today.
-----------------------------------------------
Yes, you can do that. But what is EVERYBODY said "wait and see" how would
the project get started? Paul is stepping out and designing these modules
based on input from THIS GROUP. How many manufacturers would do that?
Some people had to step up and say, "I support what you are doing and I
want to subscribe." Otherwise, MOTM would not even be happening.
So, go ahead, and be cautious. But if it were not for supporters of MOTM,
and Paul stepping out on faith with HIS cash, MOTM would just be a dream
and NO ONE would have an opportunity to buy anything.
