   I'm pretty partial to BK's 388A.  It does capacitance, transistors, 
and frequency above the usual volts, resistance, current.
   It features auto power off and the ranges are at 4 increments instead 
of 2 (like a lot of meters).  And I believe it is around $80-90 from 
Allied.
