Ending the pot discussion

I did read KL's post. What he says as his 'real world' experience is valuable in context.

I don't want to come off like some know-it-all jerk. But I have 30 years experience in analog design, 10 patents,
MSEE, all that bs crap.

I don't put parts in MOTM JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE EXPENSIVE. You will see 339 comparators I paid 11 cents for. 

I put them in there because I feel they are the BEST part for that function. 

Over years and years of use, pots will go bad. ANY OF THEM.  

So, I feel that the ones I chose are the best. Time will tell.
