And since there are no tantalum caps, no flames. 

Seriously, that's why the power supply connections are keyed, to prevent such things. I also made the pc boards
such that all the parts point in the same direction. So a simple inspection will catch a part in wrong.

I was working in a telephone exchange once and we were installing some new 
equipment for the first time. One guy who was smoking (it was legal back then)
stood behind the rack and slowly blew smoke through the rack past the new box as
it was turned on for the first time.

You should have seen the engineer lose control of his bodily funcions <g>
