etching face plates with FeCh

DO NOT PUT ALUMINIUM IN FERRIC CHLORIDE.

You get chlorine gas which is poisonous. The reaction is extremely violent
and uncontrolable too. Once the ozide layer is penetrated (a slower
reaction) the  panel would be gone in a matter of seconds.

>Has anybody tried etching anodized face plates with ferric chloride?
>Anodization (Don't ask me if this is a word) is supposed to stop Al from
