I also find it difficult to love a machine. But I think the
point that Andreas was trying to make is well taken.
The 56000 family of DSP's has been around for over 10 years, but
they've never been used as effectively (my opinion, of course)
as in the Nord line of instruments. These are extremely well
engineered, expressive musical instruments.
Transistors were around for more than 10 years until Moog
implemented his ladder filter design...
