Front panel trimmers

Strikes me that since the panel-to-board distance will be the same, it
might be worth getting some bushings made up for this. I see drilling a
slightly larger hole in the panel and then having a tube with a stepped
lip which can be glued into the panel. This will serve to guide the
screwdriver to the trim-pot and the color of the tube will show as a
narrow ring on the front of the panel...
