I lost all my bookmarks some time back in the great netscape crash of 97. I
now take a few backup versions as I'm slowly rebuilding my database. However
before that happened I had already downloaded the important bits. Including
block diagrams, pin-outs and timing. I thought I'd never find the hURL again
but a quick search using Alta Vista turned it up almost immediately. So
check this babe out.

All you could eat and for free.
However there use to be some others. Including some guys from (I think)
Sweden who had put together a PC based SID card that could handle up to 8
SID chips. Swell guys actually. It'll be a while before I actually get round
to implementing my SID synth but in the mean time any donations of old C64s
would be gratefully accepted. :) Well actually somewhere like Digi-Key or
JameCO or something like that still has SID chips listed. They want about
US$18 bucks a pop for 'em. But then if you can get an old C64 for 5 bucks
it's a little less financially straining. Especially as the end result will
be as yet unknown. We know they are noisy in the C64. I have a hunch that
with the right kind of audio system, these things might perform a little better.
Just one of the many things I'm itching to try out when I get my new ATMEL
programmer. (Thanks Paul)
Hope this helps.
STOP PRESS: This is the main page. From which you will find a mirriad of
links to other SID can C64 related site. Go get 'em boys 'n' girls.
