Hall effect sensors

Remember those pendulums with a magnet on the end that swings above a
card with other magnets glued on?
Give it a swing and the magnets interact and it gives a wacky
pattern.
Glue hall sensors (or reed switches) between the magnets and give it a
swing and it gives wacky trigger patterns.
Or build a bigger pendulum, skip the lower magnets, put sensors in a
pattern. It would run longer and be more repetitive.
Not for use under water, but would be good for kids. Hey, I think
I'll try it with my kids.

Hoping this finds you,
Toby
