Actually, I initially thought he meant those 1/4 inch "phone plugs" that
they used to use on the old patch bay "exchanges", in which case it would
sort of make sense, if you had enough of them in good condition, except for
the fact that you might as well use the modern 1/4 inch equivalent, which a
lot of us do already.
