There are a few. There are a couple of German books that are supposed
to be pretty good. But the one I can recommend is The Museum of
Synthesizer Technology by Martin Newcomb. You can get any of these books
through Peter Forrest at Susurreal Publishing. He's the one who put
together the highly recommended A-Z of Analog Synthesizer books (not what
you want for pictures but what you NEED for info). Another possibility
would be the Keyfax books/papers. I have the Omnibus edition (which
details mostly modern stuff) but I've heard that the older editions are
invaluable.
