Where do all the Harddrives go?

OK, I'm asking this sort of off-topic question here because I've gotten a
little frustrated searching the web.

I'm looking for a half-height 500MB SCSI HD. Nobody sells them anymore! I
have this nagging feeling that there are street bizarres in Malasia where
these now-unwanted HD's are stacked high on card tables and selling for $50
each, but I can't seem to find them anywhere via net-based retailers.
Anyone have any suggestions?
