Cabinet/power supply in the Digisound re-issue

   Actually, the Digisound panels are nine inches, not eight.  You could 
make hardware as you described above, it'd be 1.5 inches more though.  So 
instead of having a nice 5U panel, you'd have to use 6U worth.  It looks 
like there are a few people who support the 5U design simply because it 
saves 1U worth of rack space.
   I'm curious, how many people with Digisound modulars have them in 
standard racks?  Anyone?  Or maybe it should be asked:  How many people 
prefer to put modulars IN standard racks as opposed to custom cabinets?
   Myself, I lean towards standard racks because my keyboards eat up too 
much wall space right now.  :)
