Cabinet/power supply in the Digisound re-issue

   Yeah, I was wondering about this as well. 9" is about 23.86cm,
   so it's not even as if they were going "pseudo-metric" with this size
choice...

I would also like to place a firm vote for a 5U (8.75") panel height. I
realize this puts existing Digisound owners in a bind, but I think it makes
it a lot more appealing for the rest of us :).
Seems like it would also be possible to have 1.5" wide panels for some
simpler modules, as well as 3" panels...
