Wellllll, Analog Devices does make a "trigonometric function generator" IC
that'll turn a triangle wave into a sine or cosine wave, but they're
very expensive ($40each - I think). It uses a table lookup, but I think
the resolution is pretty fine.

But we all know you would be the last person to use a fancy expensive
chip for something you can do a lot more elegantly with a sneaky
transistor trick :)
