Zendrum?

Thanks, Ingo.  And thanks also for the input re finding the Zendrum link on
the site; it has grown to the point that perhaps an alphabetized index of
links to VERY SPECIFIC matters (unlike the more general "table of contents"
at the side, would be a good idea.  I like to think of the site as easy to
negotiate, so you've set me to thinking that this may be a good next step.

Re the Zendrum, some other users are Future Man of Bela Fleck and the
Flecktones, Tom Roady (Nashville cat), the Neville Brothers, Gary Neumann,
and I seem to remember reading that Carl Palmer was doing something with
either a Zendrum or something very similar.  My one critique of the
instrument:  Unless you're STRICTLY using it to replace a trap set, you
HAVE to use a fairly sophisticated sampler to handle sound assignments,
velocity curves, etc.
