Don on the sound of saw/tri modulation:

If you want to hear _exactly_ what it sounds like I have 2 options to 
hand. I've just implemented it in my software synth, and my Marion 
ProSynth purports to do it to...a few samples would be easy to knock 
up.

However you want to knock software/DSP synths they're a dream when it 
comes to rapid prototyping. I can knock up the vast majority of 
modules in a couple of hours...
