Not really a bell jar, the first capacitor was really a regular jar with a
metal coating on the outside and inside, the official name for it is a
Leyden Jar.

Both Digi-Key and Mouser'll send ya a free catalog, requestable on their
website. I've never heard of Allied or Newark before.
