well i think that if you want cheap, then mercury switches embedded in
'huge and wacky' things are go.....
I would like to see a baton or mace with accelerometers in it.....the new
accelerometer chips act as tilt indicators when stationary so you can
get multi dimensional output from a few in a stick... and given time
and energy perhaps an infared linl from it so you dont hsave the bloody
wire problem.... plenty of work but a very different controller
actually for stage work you can cheat and pretend to use the controller..
my poor bald head was once used as a percussion device by the Tokyo Shock

and I saw a person who 'played' his Nord to a backing tape, lifting one end up
for the pitchbend, the crowd went wild (except for me)
