Well time for me to make a fool out of myself and ask any of you who have the time and interest
to listen to some of the songs that I've made. Until now I've only had my friends listen to them and
all of them might not be into my kind of music or into music at all, and being my friends and all I suspect
they don't tell me everything they should :) So if you have the time (and maybe a fast connection) you could
maybe download a couple of songs and write me back and tell me what you think is good/bad?
This might be a little spammy but I'll write shortly what kind of songs they are, so excuse me please :)
The songs can be found at http://ssl.rsn.hk-r.se/smule
I've been told that there are problems downloading them with Netscape, but Internet Explorer works well.
I've told the webmaster about it but I'm not sure when he'll fix it. Here they are:
Sanxion - A cover of the game-music from the game Sanxion from the C64. Instrumental.
Enigma Force - Again another C-64 cover. Instrumental.
Fear - Old song, bad quality. Ballad like. Vocals.
Winter's Day - Pop song, bad quality. Vocals.
Teardrop - Slow ballad like. Bad quality. Vocals.
Tragedy - Ambientish. Instrumental.
Alone - Ballad like. Vocals.
Absence - Ambient.. Mostly strings changing chords and 2 bass-sounds.. Not very exciting at all.Instrumental.
Winter's Day97 - Re-make of Winter's Day with the equipment I have now. Vocals.
Need me - Synth-pop. Vocals.
Beacon - Quite monotonous (?)... Ambientish. Instrumental.
Alone II - (Couldn't find a good name for it :) Again ballad like. Vocals.
Solar Flare - Somewhat stompy, somewhat monotonous (Can't figure out the spelling :). Instrumental.
L.K.G.N. - Mellow start, leads into more beat. Instrumental.
In general the songs with vocals have more variation in chords and arrangement than the instrumentals.
I do all the singing on the tracks with vocals. Trying to adjust the mixer yourself while singing isn't really easy
so the volume of the song might me weird at some places.
Well.. I guess I should just sit back and wait for you to judge me if anyone takes the time to listen to some of it.
I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks.
/Peter
