ASM-1 controls (where to put them?)

I've got Gene Stopps schematic for the asm-1 vco, and plan to contruct a
couple of vco modules out of it in conjunction with a waveshaper, but
I'm no electronics expert (could you guess?), and I'd like to modify the
circuit to provide the extra versitility of the actual production VCO.
i.e. pwm/cv/fm depth knobs and an initial pw knob. I guess the
fine+coarse tune controls are the two pots which are on the schematic,
but I'm not sure where abouts in the signal path I should fit the pots
for the other controls, or what value pots to use.

Any help or ideas will be greatly appreciated, bear with me, I still
just learning :) Cheers...
