Good, simple filter ccts- outcome

Hi..

Many thanks to all who responded to my 'simple circuit' request. The
switched resistor idea is too complex, I think, for the lab I'm teaching,
interesting though the circuit is. It might be good for later on in the
course, when RF techniques are covered.

So, I'll either go the 3-opamp biquad route (H&H, p278) and maybe add OTAs
to get voltage control of cutoff frequency, or I'll do the Polyfusion LPF,
if I can get the IC count low enough (ie lots of quad packages!). The good
thing is if I give them a simple idea which is immediately useful, they can
then go away and see how many ways it can be improved and tweaked. More
budding DIYers! :) I might even learn something myself...;)

Bye for now
