I always thought it'd be amusing to build patch cables into endoscopic
probes (like the kind doctors use for non-invasive surgery) which can
twist and turn (sysex controlled, of course), and thereby the programmed
to repeat any patch. It'd look pretty smart too, a panel of writhing
silver cables, and servo-controlled pots... A modular with memories, at
last :)
