That's the whole idea.. See.. I don't want to suspend cubase or shut it down just to be able to change a parameter.
And since I'm probably not going to be changing all the parameters all at once (only have 2 hands), then I guess
it won't lag the MIDI data being merged that much, not more than a normal sysex recorded in the sequencer would.
So what I'd like is a thing that is between the computer and the Matrix-1000, that could merge sysex with sequencer data.
If it's 700DM it's not too much, but still, if I (with a lot of help from a friend ;) would make my own, I could include every
single parameter on it and still end up with expenses at the cost of the Access-programmer 2nd hand price at most.
The Matrix Modulations might be troublesome though...
