Cheetah keyboard controller - PLEASE HELP ME

I realize this may be a bit off-topic, but I'm having a real problem with my MIDI controller, and the local techs (HOUSTON, TX) aren't willing to deal with the unit because the manufacturer (Cheetah) is no longer in business.

>From what I've seen, the keyboard is VERY similar to the Fatar 88 key weighted controllers that are now available. I have all specs, schematics, etc. and would appreciate it greatly if somebody could:
1.. Tell me who bought Cheetah and is providing service for the products (if such a situation exists)
2.. Turn me on to a technician who is not too intimidated to work on the keyboard
3.. Fix it (the best of all)
I'll ship, I'll drive it to another city, I'll do anything except my current only option, which is to throw it away. Any advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I won't go into the problem here, to avoid tying up the DIY message board, but I'll be happy to provide details to any interested parties. I will say that despite the fact that the last tech to look at it diagnosed my problem as mechanical, I think that is wrong. My feeling is that there is a bad chip, corrupted memory, or something of that nature.

Again, I apologize for the slightly off-topic post, but if one of you engineers can help me, I'd be forever in your debt.
