>From what I remember (which isn't too much), the 3094 was a 3080-type device
with a weird Darlington-type buffer built in (sort of like the 13600, except the
output of the 3094's OTA is hardwired to the buffer, I think). The other feature
is that the 3094 works off of single-ended supplies, which makes it good to use
in stomp boxes running of of +9V. I hope this info is correct; it may have just
been a fantasy concocted by my feverish brain.
