Actually I've been brainstorming on the same idea for a while, and
came to the conclusion that RAM should be used to store sounds and
waveforms on the vco. Data loading can be done via MIDI sysex messages
from the computer.
The advantage is that using a RAM looks simpler than an EPROM, and
sounds can be stored / recall / edited on the computer.
