The SB, as a MIDI interface, is quite notorious for locking up under load.
Is this a SB 8, SB 16, AWE 32? I run a MOTU MIDI Express PC and have no
trouble.

You should drop the FM on that MIDI Translator and see what happens... I
have a feeling... 

Also, in your other note, you said that you hadn't hit up PAiA yet for
