My experience with my Fatman ( I built mine over a year ago) was that the
midi "latched" when recieving any aftertouch messages in quantity (I mean
alot of aftertouch data in a short period). Now since I use after touch a
lot and have optimized my controllers to send aftertouch without too too
much pressure, I latched mine pretty quickly. I have had experience with
older midi setups (P5, MemoryMoog) were I have had to filter out the Xtra
data to avoid lockups, so the answer came to me quickly. Velocity, pitch,
and a million notes a second don't tweak the FATMAN, but aftertouch, be it
channel or key, will lock it up. I have VER 1.9 as well and this is the
only glitch I can report, but to me, a very small one.

AN ASS having heard some Musicians playing, was highly
enchanted; and, desiring to possess the same charms of melody,
demanded what sort of food they lived on to give them such
beautiful voices. They replied, "Gigs!" The Ass resolved that
he would live only upon gigs, and in a short time died of hunger.
