Fatman stuck notes

It might have to do with me using the sound blaster midi out. cause 
during playback sometimes while using cakewalk if i playback a wave file 
my e-mu modules that I have hooked up go bezerk. (orbit and proteus FX)
When I borrowed my friends midi translator  during the same part of the 
song the e-mu modules did not hang up. (i did not test the fatman yet 
with the translator, I already gave it back)
is there any fixes for this?
