To all of those who haven't figured it out yet......

Filter out ALL aftertouch data     !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When I use Cakewalk I...........
Filter out the incoming aftertouch data when I lay down the FATMAN track.  
If you use a track that has aftertouch for one synth, make a copy to a
different track and cut out ALL aftertouch.

One other thing that used to lock up certain midi gear: The dreaded ACTIVE
SENSING!!
active sensing is also more sneaky, cuz stuff will work for a while, and
then, when you least expect a problem, something will lock up...
