still having fatman midi problems

ok, when i hook the fatman to my poly 800(very little midi info) it works 
great. no stuck notes. the second i plug it into my controler( after 
touch, velocity, bla bla bla) it sticks notes. It also sticks notes 
during use with cakewalk, which is odd cause i'm only putting out note 
info. any ideas? how much is a midi data filter? good brands? the 
cheapest solution?
