Minimog modulation

Hello Ingar,

Moog Music used to sell a special pot for use as a Mod pot in the Minimoog.
This pot was designed to fix the modulation "bleed" problem that you
described. I don't know anything about the specs of this pot, but I did
purchase and install several of them in the 80's, when I was an authorized
Moog service person. It definitely fixed the problem.

A more complex, yet elegant, solution would be to build and install a VCA
circuit that would attenuate modulation signals. The mod wheel could be
rewired to simply send a control voltage to the VCA. You could also control
the VCA with an external CV from a MIDI to CV box. Any cheap VCA/OTA IC
could be usable for this application (CA3080, CA3280, LM13600, etc).

Good luck,
Michael B.
