Guess what I have used to experiment with my 32x32, 2.5mm matrix!
normal 2.5mm plugs are not long enough.
These cheap wallwarts that come with multiple plugs also have a 2.5mm
one. Outside the plastic it's the same as a standard 2.5mm plug, i.e.
too
short, BUT if I strip away the plastic (hard work), it just has about
the right
length. Soldered a 2k7 on top of this naked plug, works ok.
The good news: The whole wallwart psu, including the multiple plug,
is actually cheaper than an original EMS pin!
