Tom,

I had thought long and hard about using the FrakRak, but decided the panels
are just too small.

I'm thinking of doing Moog size panels (2 1/8"W x 8 3/4"H) which are 5 RU in
height.  There would be multiples of the widths for wider modules such as 2
widths for oscillators, maybe 6 - 8 widths for sequencers.  Of couse they
would be the standard 1/8" thickness.

This size would even allow building FrakRak equivalents with 1" 'mounting
ears' and lengths of 1/2" aluminum angle.  From what I have heard about the
FrakRak, this may even be sturdier.  A 19" rack width would allow for 8
single panel widths.
