I hope a couple of those buffers are for the MCU control lines. The
NMOS 8051/8031s are fairly well behaved, but I've had problems with
the CMOS versions just running blue wires on a small (2.5x3.5) proto
card! WR* and RD* seem the most sensitive, especially w/regard to ALE.
I hate to think of the mess a beginner (or just someone not well
versed in microcontroller use) might get into stuffing a board like
this with the "wrong version" of a chip.
