test - vanishing messages.

Obviously some stuff is getting through, though I have posted a message on
the ETI synth no less than four times, and it disappeared every time. I even
checked the archives, and it certainly wasn't there either. A different
subject line did not seem to fix the problem. I can only guess there is
something wrong with the body of that particular message.
