Cutting the panel material

Haven't tried it yet but plan to put appropriate blade in my table saw and e.g. 
clamp a piece of 2x2 inside the 'L' of the angle ali to give support. I might 
also try setting the blade height to just enough to cut the thickness of the 
ali (1/8th ie approx 1/4) and do it in 2 passes, flipping the piece through 90 
degrees after first pass (make any sense?). A tenoning jig would be useful to 
remove some of the back-facing angle so the panel will fit into the sub-rack. 
Might try it this weekend.
