Yamaha CS15D and IG00159

list said that my message was corrupted. ]

Hi,

My CS15D's VCA envelope has lost it's control over the Decay and 
Sustain. That is, the Decay slider does nothing, and the Sustain 
slider does nothing, but the level is constant. The Attack and 
Release sections work fine.

I have the service manual, and it tells me that all the VCA envelope 
controls wander into an IG00159. I'm afraid that I'm not going to be 
able to find one of those just lying around somewhere. Might anyone 
have some pointers about this?

A list member thought that perhaps Midwest Analogue Products might 
help, but they told me that they do not have such a part, nor do they 
know anything about any synthesizers other that the ones they have 
built themselves. But they were very nice about it.

Any help you can provide (either in my search for the elusive chip, 
or in the diagnosis of my synthesizer's ailment) would be greatly 
appreciated.
