I'm talking about tuning VCO scaling trimmers.
The V/oct response of them.
A little box that has a rotary switch that puts out 1volt increments along
with a corresponding audio xtal derived tone of "what it should be". The only
alligator clip would be for a ground- the previously stated 1/4", 1/8" and
bananas would be for a mating patch cord that goes to an input on a modular.

And yes, I AM talking about tuning VCO's by ear!
(I don't tune them visually and never have.)

If you can't hear it, does it make a difference???

What is so confusing about a "reference voltage source" that mates with a
"reference frequency source" to facilitate tuning VCO's by ear????

>>What's wrong with just slapping a $50 Korg tuner on the output?
Nothing... as long as it puts out CV!!!

Considering that you're the first person who doesn't "get it" I would agree
with your first sentence!

Why all the attitude?
