A shockingly basic question

Thanks to everyone who responded.  I now see the error of my 
ways. (and that PDF schematic helped some, too! :-)  I didn't
realize the resistor to ground on (+) was for bias, and I need
to re-read my OpAmp Cookbook for the CMRR stuff.  Heh, maybe
my next question won't be quite as learning impared.
