Korg Delta ?

I can get a Korg Delta for $70. 

But the "synth" out put is null and I don't know what's wrong with it.

But the "strings" work fine. 

I'm assuming I can fix the "synth" problem... 
BUT...
      ...should I be paying $70 for this synth? 

      ...does it sound cool?
