Caps for CEM & SSM Filters?

some time ago i said that the answer to almost every question on analog
electronic design here was to be found in The Art of Electronics by Horowitz
and Hill.......
they have a whole lot on what capacitor to use when...........
BTW there was a discussion on ceramic caps acting as microphones (or at
least converting vibration into spurious signals) in the
sci.electronics.design newsgroup lately

and on the matter of usa vs the rest....it would be worth being in america
just to go to a Bob Pease lecture...you lucky bastards!
