Hi!
Yesterday I got a nice analogue sequencer, which I had never heard of
before.
The person who sold it, said it was an "Elrad Sequencer" - Elrad being
a German magazine that used to publish a lot of ETI / Powertran music
projects.
The beast is a 2 x 8 or 1 x 16 sequencer, shape is similar to the Korg
SQ-10,
style of knobs is very FORMANT-like, and (ATTENTION please!) it
has a 1-octave keyboard *vertically* (!!) built in for transposing the
sequence patterns. The whole thing is very nice looking, and in a first
test the LEDs were running - haven't had the time to make music with it
yet.
(And I doubt I will find the time in th enext days, as I just finished
etching
the last pcb board - the VCOs - of my JH-4 module ... so I will spend
all my
spare time soldering now ...)
Anyway, the sequencer is nice. Maybe I will keep it, maybe I will sell
it to
a FORMANT owner, as it fits this style better than my JH-3 Modular.
Anybody seen such an Elrad sequencer before? Schematics even ?
What would it be worth?
JH.
