OB-Xa Memory Loss

   Hello -


   I know this is slightly off context, but ... I have an OB-Xa that keeps

 "losing" or "dropping" all of it's patch memory.(a *bit* inconvenient!)

 Now, this unit has a BRAND NEW backup battery - it was recently serviced.

 Anyone have similar problems? Suggestions?  I looked on music machines,

 but all I could find were schematics for the OB-8 ... and the part of the

 circuit I was looking for (the backup SRAM circuit) was *absent*.

 Anyone have any ideas? I thought these two machines might be similar,

 at least in that context.
