I don't know about the Tom but I know the Multi-Trak
uses a similar ac line lump (probably the same) rated  15v at 1.1A

The pinout shows pins 1 & 3 as the full secondary voltage and pin 2
the center tap(usually ground).

I think you might be confused about the pinout of the 5 pin DIN.
It's NOT 1 to 5 going CCW ,but rather 1,4,2,5,3 from 'right to left'
